Hope is a vital element in the life of every surviving human being, you and I inclusive. It is free. We just need to exercise it, to get what we want. But it is not working for some people. The reason is, they wonder at some things that don't concern them: things that don't matter...
There are countless definitions and descriptions for hope, out there. For me, I think the core thing in them all is the invisible, intangible and unfathomable nature of this most important subject. We can't see what we call HOPE; we can't touch it; we can't completely understand what it means. All that we know is just to believe that something is real or will happen, while we don't know how this will happen. It works for some people; it does not work for others.
For those it doesn't work for, they doubt, and ask unimportant questions. When they read or hear a hopeful message, they try to think through, and find out exactly how what they've heard will happen. That is none of our business, dear ones. How it will happen; when it will happen; who will make it happen... All these are not for us to think about. To hope is just to believe that something will happen. As for the details of this, we don't have to care about.
The birds retire to their nests, and hope to go out again the next day. As for who will provide for them, they don't care. The young boy knows, tomorrow he shall go to school. From where or how Mother will get money for him to go, he knows nothing about it. We sleep and just hope to wake up again the next day. As for how God will guide us till morning, we just cannot tell. And this is what HOPE actually means. Carefreeness. Only belief!
Therefore, when we think about what we shall eat today or tomorrow, we only waste time on what shouldn't be our concern. Our part to play is only to work hard, and believe God. That's all. For how it will happen, when it will happen, and who will make it happen, let's leave it to God. He knows best...
