Pride is a poison. It deceives its possessor into thinking that he is the best; and that everyone else is inferior.
In the end, the same pride will fail him: because he will certainly fall a disgraceful fall. Wherever pride is, either there is a fall there, or there is going to be a fall there, soon. God confirms this.
