THE BEST CHOICE

I can people see, galloping fast towards destruction.
They feel blithe and gay;
And know only this day.
What to them is honey
Has them led quickly astray
On the accursed, broad way.
Now are lost many!
The immutable cost they’ll pay:
These based on the Bible, I say.
Life’s a journey;
Souls their souls in it may well slay.
So, for me, I will the reality plain lay:
Take money;
And then give me godliness, peace, and satisfaction.
