This morning I had a problem.
I had a problem beyond my power.
Some cocks noisily broke
My heart, around the first hour.
They all had encompassed me:
Their number was twice two or so.
They actually did conspire
To do something I didn't know.
Over to my right side two flew
And crowed badly into my one ear!
Oh why, cocks? Why this?
But none cared about my fear.
I tried to grab one but feathers.
They did their crowings carefreely:
Cocroocoo! Cocroocoo...
Without any pause: aw, really?
Later on I gave up the struggle:
For it seemed I was rather the odd.
They could just be playing
Or, giving their praises to God!
