CREATED WITH HOPE (We All Have Powerful Hope In Our Genes)

SHARE

What makes men give up in life, and decide finally to quit the projects they had joyfully started? What makes those who end their lives to do so? What causes students to throw in the towel on their academic pursuits, and finally decide not to continue at all after one or two failures? What causes single mothers to say: "Now that the man is no more, I don't think I can cater for these children alone"?
For me, I think they think their existence on this earth hinges on only one thing or one person so much so that without that person or thing, their lives are meaningless. I think they see themselves incapable of achieving anything good in this life, not even through hard work and perseverance. I think they've not come to the realisation that God has hidden some profound hope in them with which they can succeed in life, even if single-handedly. And that is what I want to show you. Please read on...
We slept last night and believed we would wake up today. We woke up. We sit, believing that the seat is strong enough not to make us fall. We don't fall. We know after daylight, darkness comes. The trend has never changed. We know if we plant corn seeds in planting seasons, God will give rain for a good harvest. And it happens. That is hope right there in our systems, but we've not thought of it. If we have hope in our seats, why don't we have hope in our future?
When I look at animals, they seem to be different. When I observe them, it seems they don't care about anything in this life at all: what they will eat, wear, use on their bodies, or what will make them more beautiful. Yet they live. They are carefree, yet they eat. So I think it is some of us humans, who don't make use of the free profound hope our creator hid in us. And that is why, perhaps, we care about what we will eat tomorrow, when animals don't, and yet eat. What do we learn from this?
We should also begin to activate the hope genes hidden in us. We should begin to live carefreely, like the fowls, the elephants, and the ants. I don't mean we should fold our arms, be lazy, and behave irresponsibly. Never! I mean that we should work hard like how the ants do, but forget about what we shall eat tomorrow. That one has already been taken care of by God. And what is the proof? The proof is the hope we have in us, that if we sit, our seats will not disappoint us. So, if seats will not disappoint us, will God do?
I don't think so...
