MY SECRETS

SHARE
He told me that I should open up to him,
And then tell him every bit of my life.
He said, "Friend, do not be afraid.
I certainly will tell no one this, trust me.
Just go ahead, and tell me everything."
So, I believed him,
And then told him my secrets:
I told him everything, every bit!
But what a fool I was!
One neighbour met me the next day.
And he said, "Your friend told me so and so...
He said this, this and that, you say:
So now, all your secrets, I, even I too, know."
O, what a fool, I was!
