STRIVE ON, WEARY STUDENT (To All My Fellow Students Worldwide)

SHARE

Books and studies are tossing you here and there.
Dear Student, you feel like giving up, I suppose.
Complex formulae and concepts are loads of care;
But hear these pearls of advice I today propose:
Strive on, weary Student.
Some subjects are hard; some courses are tough.
Some teachers and lecturers make you cry.
You know you're trying and yet grades are rough:
So you have resolved scarcely again to try.
Even so, strive on, weary Student.
You are a failure, a good-for-nothing, who says?
That's what others say so that's what you think?
Sit down and learn hard, because hard work pays;
Aim high and quit behaving like you were a fink.
I say strive on, weary Student.
Your hard work today will buy you sorrow;
It will buy you worry and buy you pain.
But remember that you will smile morrow,
And sweeter victory and success gain.
Therefore, strive on, weary Student!
