ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER (The Real Essence of This Life)

SHARE

Life comes by life. Man lives by life. Life is never bought with money or riches. It is given freely by the Giver of life. No one came into existence by his or her own volition. You, myself, and every other human being too, live not because we want to live: we live because the Giver of life has given us life. He rains rain, gives sunshine, and gives us breath, all freely. But, are we aware; have we thought of it, that we've been given life, to be sources of life to others, too? Please read on. Pay close attention to this...
Our mothers and fathers are the first carnal sources of the life we have. They begot us and nurtured us, till we grew up, and became what we are today. As we grew, we socialised with others, and they touched our lives in one way or the other. We were in need. And yet, we got help. We fell sick, and ran into troubles; some people helped us out. At some point, all hope was lost! We almost gave up. But someone showed us love, and we found hope. Sometimes we just can't explain how we get the help, and even end up concluding that, it is a miracle.
Yes, it is a miracle, but it happened through someone. We got healed; it was through someone. We are where we are, and have what we have today; someone helped us. And so, we should also understand, that we have lives to touch, people to help, pearls of advice to give, souls to save. This is what I call, the inter-connected nature of life. One life is linked to the other, and to the other, and to the others. We get saved, to save others. We get helped, to help others.
Personally, when I look at my life, I can say it is full of help (to others and from others) and full of lessons (for others and from others). This personality you see in me today is not how it was when I was young. It has gone through a lot of tough times and good times as well. And God always makes way in the hard times. But He makes the way through people. That is why I have availed myself for Him to make ways for others through me, also. I will help build each life I need to build here on this earth, before He calls me home.
Sure, ONE GOOD TURN DESERVES ANOTHER! But, why are we stingy? Why are we unkind? We, who once were in dire need, and got help from someone, why have we closed our eyes and hearts to the plights of others? If we have money, why don't we help those needy fellows? If we have more than needful, why don't we share? If we got motivated by someone, why don't we motivate the hopeless, too? Some people's destinies are locked with ours. We have significant parts to play in the well-being of others, just like how others have sacrificed selflessly for us before. We may be the best people to take them to where they ought to be in this life. Have we identified those people? Fellows, have we thought about these things?
