WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT 'GIVERS NEVER LACK' (I pray this challenges you)

SHARE

'GIVERS NEVER LACK' sounds like a clichè. But it still works. It moves with 'WHAT YOU SOW IS WHAT YOU REAP'. And, these are the two most effective natural laws. From the day we begin to take a very thoughtful look at 'GIVERS NEVER LACK'; and turn it over and over again in our minds; and think of what its essence really is; and then start practising it unreservedly with all our hearts, holding nothing back, our lives will begin to change. Some blockages will be removed effortlessly. And then, good things (not only money), will begin to flow into our lives.
But, what do givers give?
The very first times I began to hear 'GIVERS NEVER LACK' in my early years (about twenty years ago), the first thing that always popped up in my mind is money. So in my mind, what I actually usually thought of is: 'GIVERS OF MONEY NEVER LACK'. Even up till now, I am sure that is how you usually perceive it too. And it is true, although money is not the only element. So what do givers give? For me, I think givers give not only money, but things money can buy, and even the ones money cannot buy. Now our minds are opening. Yes. Now we are beginning to think outside the box. Oh yes! So apart from money, what else?
Givers give time. I have heard some people say, the best thing you can give anyone is your time. Givers commit their time to the good of others and to other profitable ventures. They commit their time to hard work. They are not lazy. In the end, they get rewarded with profit. Sometimes the reward does not come swiftly. But, they always get rewarded.
Givers give humility. Humility? Yes, humility. Most of the time, the riches we have longed for; the good jobs; the favour we have been eagerly seeking, have not got any other secrets whatsoever. All we need to do is to be humble. And that is what givers give! They give humility to everyone -- whoever they are, wherever they come from, old or young, man or woman, junior or senior. In the end, favour, promotion, and provision is what they get.
Givers give patience. They never rush. They never run. They know that haste makes waste, so even when it seems they are lagging behind, they still walk. It does not mean that they are cowards. It does not mean that they do not know what is good for them. No. They just know when to run, and when to slow down. Sometimes they give a lot of time, at times even years, to one thing. Others will come and pass them by. But in the end, such givers get rewarded with the best. And what they get lasts for them.
In relationships (and wedlocks), givers give faithfulness, love and care, and not only money or lip service. They give all their all for their partners, selflessly. They love their partners. They are never mean. They are never wicked. Such is how their wedlocks flourish, and enjoy the blessings of God. For such givers, they get loved in return, and cared for, respected, and appreciated. Their relationships grow.
'GIVERS NEVER LACK'! Now, how do you perceive it? Is it just a clichè? Is it just about money? I am sure you think no. You no longer understand it as such. And truth is, it is such a different perception you would have about it, that would make it work for you more effectively than you ever imagined.
Have you paid your tithes this month? Which one(s) of your friends or family members (including your nephews and nieces) have you helped? Do you still have old skimpy clothes in your wardrobe? What are you keeping them for? Why don't you give them out to others that do not have? Your bank account is fat! True, you struggled alone. You suffered alone. But, haven't you thought of it, that it is not good for you to keep the money locked up in the bank, and see widows and orphans and family members suffer, and care less? When will you stretch out your hand? When will you do good? When will you help? Aesop once said: "No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted." And I add that, it forever abides in both the memories and the hearts of the receivers. In due time, the givers will be rewarded accordingly.
GIVERS NEVER LACK! No giver has ever lacked. And no giver will ever lack. This, is a nutural law. And no one, not even the devil, can work against it.
Make good use of your what you have...
