Life is unstable. It has good sides and unfavourable sides. And its instability is no respecter of persons. It can affect nobles and common men alike, at any time, anywhere, and under any circumstances. Inasmuch as it can favour us, sometimes it weighs us down rather. It takes away happiness, and replaces it with bitterness for us. It takes away our hope, leaves us in despair, and kills our spirits.
In such times we get tossed hither and thither by turbulent waves of lack; of limitation; and sometimes of grave, unrecoverable losses. We get entangled with huge amounts of debts. We get disappointed. And we lose the best parts of our existence.
But, when it gets to that point when it seems our very lives are going to be sacrificed for nothing, we should remember one thing: when night worsens in darkness, then daybreak is near. That means that help is near, so we should not give up. That means that our rescue is more near than we ever imagined, so we should persevere. That means that if we lost a thousand, a thousand times ten is approaching, so we should rejoice. And that is the sweet unchanging law of nature: that nothing, not even pain, is permanent.
So I have learnt my part of this great sweet lesson, for I have tasted it, and have found out that it is true, that there is light after darkness, and relief after pain. O how amazing this is! Pain has given way for restoration; broke life has left hold of me, and affluence has taken over. Losses have left the scene for abundant gains. And where is sadness? It's flown away! So now happiness and true satisfaction have engulfed my entirety.
Because of this, I won't ever let this broad smile fade away from my face. I will keep it there, as a proof for those that I inspire. This is what will make them see the truth in what I keep on telling them, that one day, their own rescue will also come, like mine. There is only one secret: Patience...
